
2004: Thylander Group started taking an interest in the German market, and in 2005 the Group initiated the formation of EI Invest Berlin which subsequently acquired 4,000 residential apartments in Berlin totalling some 205,000 square metres.
In addition TG Berlin acquired that same year 180 residential apartments in Berlin.
In early 2006 Thylander Group headed a consortium which acquired all shares in “Scala Group”, the owner of the historic Scala building complex next to the famous Tivoli Gardens in the heart of Copenhagen. Shortly after the property portfolio was sold.
Later that same year, Thylander Group acquired a portfolio of industrial properties in Ballerup totalling some 50,000 square metres, and again the portfolio was sold shortly thereafter.
In 2006, acquiring all A-shares of Torsana A/S, Thylander Group formed Victoria Properties A/S, Denmark’s first listed real estate investment company solely focusing on German real estate. Together with institutional investors such as J. C. Hempel Foundation, Wedell Family, Følsgaard Family and the Clausen Family, Thylander Group invested DKK 250 million in Victoria Properties. In 2008 the balance reached DKK 1.8 billion shared among properties in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Berlin.
In 2007 Lars Thylander was named “Profile of The Year” by the leading Danish Real Estate Industry Magazine, Erhvervsejendom (Commercial Property).
Late 2008: TG Partners A/S was launched with Thylander Group as equity partner, joined by institutional and high net-worth individuals as co-investors, and aiming at investments in distressed real estate in Copenhagen. At the same time Thylander Group participated as the main shareholder in a share offering in Victoria Properties A/S.
In 2009 Thylander Group acquired the property Metalbuen 66 in Ballerup from Danske Bank Group. After a full development the property was successfully leased to Oracle Danmark as their new Danish headquarters.
2010 saw investments at DKK 700 million in 8 separate transactions for TG Partners A/S. In addition we realized a private sale of half of our shares in Victoria Properties A/S to Carl Allers Etablissement, after which we are 6 equal main shareholders in the listed company.
In 2011 we took the initiative to establish TG Partners II P/S with a number of institutional and private investors.
